CHRISTIAN ECONOMICS

Scripture: Eph. 5:14-20

I. Redeeming the time.

A. Each week contains 10,080 minutes.

B. What do people do with their time?

II. A fairly active church member.

A. Attends on Sunday, three hours = 180 min.

B. Attends Wednesday night = 60 min.

C. Reads the Bible two hours = 120 min.

D. Prays 15 minutes daily = 105 min.

E. Visits sick 3 hours = 180 min.

F. Total time for the Lord = 645 min.

III. Sleeps daily, eight hours = 3,360 min.

IV. Works five days, eight hours each = 2,400 min.

V. Recreation and rest = 3,675 min.

VI. His time. Pleasure 36.5 pct. Sleep 33.3 pct. Work 23.8 pct. For the Lord 6.4 pct.
